My Honda Civic VTI (Auto) 1999 is turning the engine oil black even after just 500KM of car run.

My Honda Civic VTI (Auto) 1999 is turning the engine oil black even after just 500KM of car run. However, oil does not gets low but it just turning it black. I have however already washed it with engine oil twice. but when i run it to just 200 km it starts getting dark black in color. Please advise.
